Extended Hours
Extended Hours 3.45—6pm 2 years old £23 per day per extended hour session; 3 years old £19 per day per extended hour session. For the fee your child may attend the Kindergarten on your allocated days between 8.00am – 3.45pm or between 8.00am - 6.00pm respectively
Refunds will not be made if your child does not attend for all these hours. Fees are due monthly in advance (within the first five calendar days of the month). The monthly fee is payable each month in full, irrespective of holidays and period when the Kindergarten is closed during the month. Your full fee is due from the first day your child attends the Kindergarten. A late payment fee of £25 will be due for payments between the 6th and 12th of each month. Thereafter an additional fee of £10 each will occur for further seven days delay. We require two full months notice if you are planning to take your child out of the nursery. For example if you plan to leave the Kindergarten on 31 August you need to give notice on the last calendar day in June, at the latest.
Funding
All 3- and 4-year-old children are able to access 570 hours of entitlement per year funded by the government from the term after their third birthday. This funding can be applied across the school terms (38 weeks per year). In the German Kindergarten Bermondsey the offer is stretched to cover our opening periods of 50 weeks per year. Some 2-year-olds in England can also get free entitlement hours funded by the government if they meet certain criteria.
15 hours universal entitlement
We offer 15 funded entitlement hours funded by the government as part of full day care, applied over 50 weeks (full day) of the year. We offer up to 570 hours per year, which equates to 11.4 hours per week for full days over 50 weeks of the year. We ask you to commit to two days per week as a minimum. There are a small number of places to attend only 11 hours, please enquire about availabilities. We apply a charge for the additional hours outside of the funded hours.
When will my child become eligible for the free entitlement (FEEE)?
If your child is born between 1 April – 31 August they can access a free place from the First September following their third birthday until statutory school age.
If your child is born between 1 September – 31 December they can access a free place from the First January following their third birthday until statutory school age.
If your child is born between 1 January — 31 March they can access a free place from the First September following their third birthday until statutory school age.
